 Trip Committee Update:

We hope that everyone is enjoying the ski and snowboarding season. From all reports that we have heard from our trip participants on the trip to Andorra/Barcelona with the Merck Ski Association the trip participants all had a great time. We look forward to hearing more about the trip in next month's flyer. The day trip to Elk Mt (Fri. Jan.26th) with Chris Lapes leading the group was 100% full and they had a great trip with good conditions and a blue bird day. We will be looking forward to hear from Roger Brubaker on how the family ski day and club race was on Sunday Jan.28th at Roundtop Mountain. Good luck to all Racers!!! Next up is our first of two weekend trips. Gore Mountain (Feb.2-4, 2018) with Jason Frederick as the trip leader. There is still time to sign up for this trip and Jason is looking for a single female at this time. Our second weekend trip is to "The Beast of the East" Killington (Feb.23-25, 2018) with Kris Miller as the trip leader. We still have openings on this trip so please contact Kris to sign up. Our next day trip is to Montage (Sun. Feb.11th). We would like to thank the Special Olympic Athletes and their coaches for joining us on this day trip. This would be a great opportunity to make some turns with the athletes that we support and to help to cheer them on this year during their upcoming competitions. Please contact Kris Miller to sign up. The day trip to Seven Springs (Fri. March 9th) with Dean Vitatoe still has a few openings so please send your checks ASAP to get signed up. We have a great group of people who have signed up to go on our Zermatt Utah Adventure (Feb.28- March 4, 2018). Our trip participants will not only have three great mountains to ski/board, but an opportunity to swim and or scuba-dive in a Geo Thermal Crater. Buses depart for trips from the Skyline Pool Parking lot on Eden Road (across from the Eden Resort). Please remember to park in a grouped area assigned by the trip leader at the Skyline Pool parking lot. The Trip Committee will start working on trips for next year and we would love to get your input. Please fill out the trip surveys to help us with future planning of trips.

If you did not have an opportunity to go on any of the trips this year but you may have a suggestion on a destination, please reach out to someone on the Trip Committee and let us know. Trip committee members: Roger Brubaker, Dean Vitatoe, Devera Kazmerski, Don Benninger, Kris Miller, Brian Leatherman and Jon Doman. If you have any questions concerning the trips, trip application, sign up policy or would to participate on the trip committee or be considered for a trip leader, please contact me.

Notice: When parking in the Skyline Pools parking lot, please remember to park in a group area designated by the trip leader. Parking in a grouped area is requested from the Manheim Township Recreation Commission. It helps for the plowing of the snow if it becomes necessary and for the bus to maneuver around the parking lot.

Your Cooperation is greatly appreciated.
