about The Lancaster Ski Club
The Lancaster Ski Club is a premier club with over 300 fun-loving members. We are one of the largest ski and snowboard clubs in Central PA. While we focus on snowsports (downhill skiing, snowboarding, etc.), we have interesting activities all year long. Our monthly meetings include a social hour and informative presentations, and our spring and summer events are a blast! Membership advantages include group ski trips, lift ticket discounts, exciting social events, and more. From beginner to expert, singles to families, you'll find opportunities to visit world-class travel destinations in the US, Canada, Europe, and South America, at phenomenal group prices. As our motto says, "Ski the World!"

membership meetingS
The Lancaster Ski Club generally holds regular meetings on the 3rd Thursday of each month from September through March. Meetings are usually held at local restaurants with private meeting areas. Note that this schedule does change from time to time, so check out the monthly newsletter for dates locations. Meetings are also listed on the home page and social events page.
The meetings generally begin with a social hour from 7-8 pm followed by a brief business meeting and often a short program of interest to members. Past program topics have included proper ski maintenance, Gore-Tex clothing, advances in ski technology, on-site ski resort representatives, and the 10th Mountain Division of the Army. In December we hold an annual Holiday Party in lieu of a meeting (see newsletter for details). In April we close the season with an annual semi-formal Spring Dinner Dance. In October we host a Ski Expo where you can meet reps from the resorts and win prizes. During the "off-season" the LSC hosts a number of activities, which can be found on the Social Events page.
